Welcome to Coopers45rpm. By placing an order through our website,
you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
We are an independent record store specialising in vinyl records and related
music items. We aim to provide accurate descriptions, genuine photographs and
fair postage rates on every order.
All records listed for sale by Coopers45rpm are individually assessed by us.
Where possible, all product photographs shown in our listings are our
own photographs of the actual item being offered for sale. We do not
routinely use stock photographs or images taken from other websites.
The record shown in the listing is the record you will receive, unless otherwise
stated in the listing.
Because we primarily sell pre-owned and vintage records, the condition of each
item can vary. We therefore make every effort to describe the condition of each
record and sleeve as accurately and honestly as possible.
We only list the actual condition of each individual record.
Any imperfections, marks, wear, damage or other notable issues that we identify
will be included in the item's description where appropriate.
Please read the complete product description and examine all photographs before
purchasing.
Descriptions of condition are made in good faith based on our inspection of the
item. Due to the subjective nature of grading vinyl records, minor differences
in individual expectations may occur.
Where a particular fault or imperfection is known to us, we will make reasonable
efforts to disclose it in the listing.
Coopers45rpm only sells genuine records and music products to the best of our
knowledge and belief.
If there is ever a genuine concern regarding the authenticity or accuracy of an
item purchased from us, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can
investigate the matter.
All prices displayed on our website are the prices payable for the relevant
product, subject to any obvious pricing error.
We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing or listing errors. If an item
has been purchased at an obviously incorrect price, we will contact the
customer before processing the order and, where appropriate, offer the option
of cancelling the order and receiving a full refund.
We currently accept online payments through PayPal.
Payment must be received before an order is dispatched.
PayPal provides its own Buyer Protection and Seller Protection programmes for
eligible transactions. These programmes are operated by PayPal and are subject
to PayPal's own terms, conditions, eligibility requirements and dispute
procedures.
Payment through PayPal does not remove or replace any statutory rights that
customers may have.
For information about PayPal's current protection programmes, please refer to
PayPal's own terms and conditions.
We aim to keep our postage charges as low as possible while ensuring that
records are packaged appropriately for transit.
Our standard UK postage charge is:
£3.30 for one record, with the same £3.30 charge applying to orders
weighing up to 1kg, or approximately 8 records, where the combined order
remains within the applicable weight limit.
This means that customers can purchase multiple records without the postage
charge increasing unnecessarily, provided the order remains within the 1kg
limit.
We also aim to offer low, simple postage rates for European and
International customers.
The applicable postage charge will be displayed at checkout or otherwise
communicated before payment. Where possible, we use the same principle of
keeping postage costs low for multiple records, subject to the total weight,
destination and shipping service available.
For larger orders exceeding the applicable weight limit, additional postage
may be required.
If additional postage is necessary, we will contact the customer before
dispatch wherever possible.
Vinyl records are carefully packaged using suitable protective materials to
reduce the risk of damage during transit.
We take reasonable care when preparing every order for shipment.
Once an order has been handed to the postal or delivery service, delivery
times are outside our direct control.
We aim to dispatch orders as soon as reasonably possible following receipt
of cleared payment.
Delivery times can vary depending on the destination, postal service,
customs procedures and other circumstances outside our control.
For international orders, customers are responsible for being aware of any
import requirements, customs charges, duties or taxes that may apply in their
country.
Any customs or import charges imposed by the destination country are the
responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
We package orders carefully and use appropriate postal services.
If your order does not arrive, or arrives damaged, please contact us as soon
as possible with your order details.
We will work with you and, where appropriate, the relevant postal or delivery
service to investigate the issue.
Where a PayPal transaction is eligible for PayPal Seller Protection, we may
also be able to rely on PayPal's protection programme, subject to PayPal's
rules and requirements. We will retain appropriate proof of postage or delivery
where required.
PayPal protection is not a guarantee against every possible loss or
claim, and eligibility is determined under PayPal's applicable terms.
If you are a UK consumer purchasing from us online, you may have statutory
cancellation and return rights under applicable UK consumer legislation.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove or restrict any
statutory rights that you are entitled to.
If you believe that a record is significantly different from its description,
has been incorrectly described, or there is another problem with your order,
please contact us promptly so that we can discuss the issue and arrange an
appropriate resolution.
Where a return is agreed or legally required, we will provide instructions
for returning the item.
For returns relating simply to a change of mind, any applicable statutory
cancellation rights will apply. Returned items should be sent back in
appropriate packaging and in the condition required by applicable law.
Certain exceptions to cancellation rights may apply under UK law depending on
the nature of the product and circumstances of the sale.
Many of the records sold by Coopers45rpm are pre-owned, used or vintage items.
As a result, they may naturally show signs of age and previous use.

Where these characteristics are significant or relevant to the condition of
the item, we aim to describe them in the listing and/or show them in our
photographs.
Customers should carefully read the individual listing before purchasing.
Our stock is limited and many items are unique.
An item may therefore only be available once. We reserve the right to correct
an obvious stock or listing error.
If, in exceptional circumstances, an item has been sold to another customer
or is unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you and
provide a full refund for the unavailable item.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs,
prices and other information on our website are accurate.
However, occasional typographical, pricing or technical errors may occur.
Where an obvious error affects an order, we will contact the customer and
explain the situation.
Unless otherwise stated, photographs created by Coopers45rpm for our listings
are our own photographs.
Our photographs, website content, product descriptions, branding and other
original material must not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without
our prior permission.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact
information when placing an order.
Coopers45rpm cannot be responsible for delays or delivery problems resulting
from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that
cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
In particular, nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any statutory
rights you may have as a consumer.
Subject to those rights, Coopers45rpm will not be responsible for losses that
are not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from circumstances outside our
reasonable control.
We will not be responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our
reasonable control, including postal or courier delays, strikes, extreme
weather, natural disasters, customs delays, changes in legislation, technical
failures or other events beyond our reasonable control.
We will nevertheless make reasonable efforts to assist customers where an
issue occurs.
We will handle customer information in accordance with our Privacy Policy
and applicable data protection legislation.
Payment information processed through PayPal is handled in accordance with
PayPal's own privacy and security policies.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The version published on this website at the time of your order will apply
to that order, subject to any statutory rights that may apply.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales,
unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
Any dispute will be dealt with in accordance with applicable UK law and the
rights of the customer under any mandatory consumer protection legislation.
